Field Specialist duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Develop operating procedures and provide associated training;
• Mentor, train, assess, and support employees in operation and maintenance activities;
• Provide support as requested for technical decision making in operation and maintenance of assets;
• Provide assistance to Company operations staff with interpretation of any system alarms, as requested.
• Support equipment outage investigations, troubleshooting, and restoration activities;
• Provide support on Preventive Maintenance (PM) execution;
• Review and provide support on finalizing Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals
• Shall be able to demonstrate recent experience with the scope of work outlined in Section 1.1.2 on equipment similar to that identified under Job Function Section.
• Shall provide industry references for work in similar roles;
• As a minimum, shall have three (3) years electrical, electronic, or mechanical technology diploma from a recognized technical institute with 15 years of experience. Higher levels of technical training are acceptable.
• Shall possess a valid driver’s license;
• Shall be legally qualified to work in Canada;
• Shall be fluent (spoken and written) in English.
